Goofy Brett!

Brett is celebrating the 100s he has made on all of his spelling tests! It's pretty amazing to listen to him read just about anything. Yes, little brother wants to read, too!

Silly Mallory

Mallory is definitely a show-off! I'm not sure how she'll be when she gets older, but right now she is not shy and loves to flirt and make people laugh. The surprising part of this picture is she is sitting down in her high chair--usually she is standing up. She is much more a climber than her brothers ever were!

Brotherly Love

Although Reece is still a bit of a hot-head (even though few people other than the family believe it), he loves his big brother. He loves Mallory, too, but she irritates him (on purpose) a bit too much. If I could take a picture while driving the car, I'd have proof of her antics--she loves to reach over and grab his shirt and cackle with glee while he screams in anger because she won't let go! What did I say about madness??

Nice weather

So, I'm not very creative with titles! When the temperature finally stopped staying in the 90s (even though it was October), we got to play outside more. Here the kids are hanging out on the slide--we're taking a picture for a birthday card for PawPaw Sonny since dear mom almost forgot the date!

Halloween Tears

I can thank my friend Carmen for lurring me into this new phase of blogging. Am I not already crazy enough without attempting something else to take my time? That's why I called the page "Boyd Family Madness"--we have some pretty chaotic times, but I love almost every minute of it! Oh well, we'll see if I actually keep this thing going each month!

I thought it would be a good idea to get the kids dressed in their costumes for a Halloween pic to send to the family in Mississippi. Reece is Buzz Lightyear, Mallor is Minnie Mouse, and Brett is a clone-trooper (without his mask) from Star Wars (he's a little obsessed with SW). As you can see, Mallory was not a happy camper! She loves wearing her Minnie Mouse dress, but not on this particular day! I certainly hope she is more cooperative Halloween night--the lure of candy should do the trick!
